How to get away from policemen with tasers!

You just invoke the name of God, the archangels and random X-men, and start rapping random phrases like this dude here!

If only the people arrested during the whole 'One Black Malaysia' thing did just that!
Police brutality is a terrible, terrible thing and we Malaysians need to be more educated about our rights and not just blindly fear the police which good for nothing politicians have been using recently to scare us into submission.

Obama Addresses the Muslim World

It is easier to start wars than to end them. It is easier to blame others than to look inward; to see what is different about someone than to find the things we share. But we should choose the right path, not just the easy path. There is also one rule that lies at the heart of every religion - that we do unto others as we would have them do unto us. This truth transcends nations and peoples - a belief that isn't new; that isn't black or white or brown; that isn't Christian, or Muslim or Jew. It's a belief that pulsed in the cradle of civilization, and that still beats in the heart of billions. It's a faith in other people, and it's what brought me here today.

We have the power to make the world we seek, but only if we have the courage to make a new beginning, keeping in mind what has been written.

The Holy Koran tells us, "O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another."

The Talmud tells us: "The whole of the Torah is for the purpose of promoting peace."

The Holy Bible tells us, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."

The people of the world can live together in peace. We know that is God's vision. Now, that must be our work here on Earth. Thank you. And may God's peace be upon you.
- Barack Obama

Another truly inspiring speech by Obama.

I just hope that he goes beyond his beautiful rhetoric and actually manages to do something concrete to end all this senseless conflict that has been going on for generations.

Bed rest.

I just feel remarkably lethargic and tired today. One of those days where the life force has been sucked dry from the shell that we call our bodies and you're left hanging to whatever scraps of energy you have left. But I guess I'm just being overtly melodramatic.

One thing is clear though - good music heals the soul. Brings us back to life. Helps us remember that even in a world plagued by famine, war, disease (blasted H1N1!) and the tyranny of many, many evil men - this world is still way more good than bad, that life really is just one big miracle that we are all in together.

Zee Avi made me feel that way with her music today.

Listening to her music just made me happy.
And with that I'm off to bed.

P.S. : To all of you that supported the Spartan Invasion of One Utama, THANK YOU!
It's so heartwarming to read all of your encouraging comments!

Tony and Khairy

Had the chance to see Tony Pua and Khairy Jamaluddin verbally spar and entertain us with their wisecracks yesterday at the "New America, One Malaysia" forum at the JW Mariott Hotel yesterday.

They were so damn funny that Andrew Loh even went on to comment that they should form a comedy duo. I totally concur.

How does Tony and Khairy sound to you? I bet they'll beat Phua Chu Kang any day.
