If only I could feel this way about the gym.

Damn, if I felt the way the Arnold felt about the gym I would be way bigger than I am today!

Arnie:

The greatest feeling you can get in the gym, or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym, is the pump.

Let's say you train the biceps, blood is rushing to your muscles and that's what we call the pump.

Your muscles get a really tight feeling, like your skin is going to explode any minute and it's really tight it's like someone's blowing air into it, into your muscles.

It just blows up and feels different, it feels fantastic.

It's just as satisfying to me as coming is, you know? As in having sex with a woman and coming.

So can you believe how much I am in heaven?

I'm like getting the feeling of coming in the gym; and I'm getting the feeling of coming at home; I'm getting the feeling of coming backstage when I pump up, when I pose in front of 5000 viewers, I get the same feeling that I am coming day and night!

I mean, it's terrific, right? So you know, I'm in heaven.

*BEAMS*
How come it doesn't feel like coming day and night for me? WHY?

Blogging overload.

It's weird, but I find it way easier to post when I've done less things rather when I have just done so, so many things and find myself having to choose a few and blog about them.

And now there are so many things that I have to write about my Singapore trip - from how Wing Chuan lost 5kg due to all the backpacking; how we went into Butter Factory with our gigantic backpacks; how we stood up a bartender; slept in a friend's living room, and the list just keeps going on and on.

And damn, I can't decide. And too tired to post all the pictures.

But what I can say is that this recent Singapore trip really made me step out of my comfort zone, and by that, really helped me grow, which I strongly believe to be the best thing that I can do for myself right now.

Step out of that comfort zone, or you will never level up.

Don't want to stay a n00b forever, don't you?

I'm marvelous.

I promise this, promise this;
Check this hand cause I'm marvelous

So marvelous.

My trip in Singapore just keeps getting better and better in ways that I never imagined.
Sometimes, just relaxing and staying open to the opportuinities that life brings you can lead you to places that you've only dreamed about.

Say yes to your wonderful life (it's wonderful, you just have to open your eyes real well and see it).

In the car.

Yes, you read me right. I am writing this post from the very inside of my car. I have my laptop on my lap, with it's screen partially resting on my steering wheel. I'm using the wireless connection from a nearby Starbucks and the thrill of surfing the web - minus having to buy the obligatory coffee or two - feels awesome.

It's been so long since I've really just written about my life on this blog. Not that anyone would want to read about it anyway. Or do you? Or do you just want to read about the funny and crazy things that I do?

But it's not like I really care today. Today I'm just gonna be talking a little bit about myself. Some stream-of-conciousness sort of writing. Something cathartic.

The holidays have turned out vastly different from what I expected them to be. At the beginnning of my holidays I already made clear travel plans to travel to Phuket, Vietnam and then Melbourne in July. The tickets were bought and paid for, and I was all set to go.

Then the swine flu hit. Apparently it wasn't safe to travel to Phuket and Vietnam, so I cancelled. Then Melbourne hit the news as the swine flu capital of the world.

It felt like there was someone up there with a big magnifying glass burning up my hopes and dreams for travel just like that.

And I'm stuck here with this intense need to just go somewhere and experience some adventure - to go somewhere I've never gone before, to experience different climates and seasons, to do things I never done before.

And since my 1 month long trip to Melbourne has been called off, I have to now figure out some way to do that here. Right here in KL.

There's no point complaining about it and feeling sorry for myself at this point, and if I keep complaining, it only means that I'm not working towards a solution here.

And there's this other issue, that I feel that my past couple of days have been immensely unproductive. I've been spending way too much time sitting on my chair, surfing cracked.com, gizmodo and facebook instead of actively pursuing my goals.

It's like the total lack of structure of the holidays is screwing up my productivity somehow. I need to get more organized!

Sigh. Yet more organizational angst.

Yup, so I've got it all out of my system, I hope.

I'll be down in Singapore to do some soul searching till Sunday. Let's see if my life gets more sorted out then. If anyone has any really awesome projects to work on, let me know. I really want to dive into producing some meaningful work.

Take care people,
Hamlet's Hero.

I missed Saturday's Star Metro!

Earlier this morning I received SMSes from Roger and Chuan that sounded a little bit like this:

Roger: Eh, our pictures are in the newspaper lol!
Chuan: We appeared in the newspaper already!

And I had no way of checking that article out as I was still on Pulau Tioman meditating and contemplating life.

I was serious!

I've just got back from a wonderful family holiday at Tioman, but now since I can't find a copy of the Star for sale, I got to wait till tomorrow find someone who has a copy. Oh well.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments that I have been getting over the past week. It really is heartwarming to know that people out there share my crazy sense of humour and that I am not alone in my quest to do crazy, crazy things.

Expect more to come from this space, and I'll post a scan of the article when I can. Cheers people!

Update:

Here are the pictures from Star Metro! But sadly they were far from flattering.
Seriously.

Oh well, but it's still the papers! (:
